Dental implants

Sometimes, a person’s entire tooth can be removed or damaged hence creating a permanent gap. For the purposes of covering the gap, the person gets a dental implant. Dental implants can be so agonizing at times due to the multiple processes that require the patient to visit the dentist over and over. Dental implants also require that the person has a strong bone structure for the process to be successful. In case a patient has a weak bone structure; he will go through some supplementary procedures before having a firm implant. Titanium made screw is used to replace the root of the tooth. It is a process that takes between 3 to 5 months to be successfully completed. In the recent past, there have been fewer dental implant procedures performed such as with the immediate artificial teeth placement. The advantage is that this process is normally less time consuming as compared to the former. The disadvantage of this is that the dentist will have less control over the patients healing pace and process.
